It's good not great. A fun place to go to see a nice view of the freeway. The salad bar is a salad bar. The food was ok. The service was good. Friendly and attentive. I probably wouldn't go back.

Though I've lived around this restaurant most of my life, my 1st time coming here was to celebrate a wedding anniversary with my wife, and we were NOT disappointed, you get a free salad and soup bar with entree and we ordered the loaded fries which were covered in cheese and BBQ pulled pork as an appetizer, I had the chicken and ribs with mash potatoes, the chicken was thoroughly cooked and tasted great the ribs were tender and both were covered in BBQ sauce, the mash potatoes were made my favorite way, with the skins, my wife had the prime rib and scallops and both were delicious, the service was great, Marina, our server never left us with empty glasses and made sure our food was satisfactory, Marina was very friendly the ambience is intimate with a great view of Pomona, definitely going to try to make this a once a month visit.

Friday night Happy Hour. Place is empty. I didn't mind it since there was a place to sit and we had the attention of the bartender. Enjoyed the prime rib nachos and a rack of pork ribs. Ribs were fall off the bone and the prime rib nachos were served hot. Miners margarita was tasty but sweet for my personal taste. Cheese bread is yummy. I could have bread, salad and a cocktail and be satisfied. Get the cheese bread!. Bartenders were great and friendly. There needs to be more food choices for happy hour. The bar area also needs to dress up the empty floor space. There are windows with beautiful views that you. Am sit and wait for your table or have a cocktail. Maybe turn that empty area into a lounge with couches and seating (not high tops) to appreciate the views. Good to know this place offers happy hour until 7pm.

The views are incredible. I visited this place for the first time during the day, but I imagine it is a great spot for a sunset dinner or drinks. There are large windows inside also to have a nice view of the city below. Not all tables have a great view but you can easily walk over to any area to capture the view. The food was actually really good. I was pleasantly surprised how tasty everything was. Service is not terrible but not too friendly either. Nothing to complain about but something to note. Overall, it is a great steak location. Food selection is limited for dinner. Definitely would like to return for brunch. Kinda pricey but everything was really good. Don't skip the salad and soup bar. The chili was very good!

The rustic look of this steakhouse , bar and banquet facility established in 1977 was built near by an old mine site that is overlooking a breathtaking view of the city. Only open for dinner experience , so a reservation is a must. My review is based on my experience celebrating a 70th birthday which was done in one their banquet rooms. The Angel's Camp Ballroom and Eureka Ballroom. Each ballroom holds at least 100 guests with a round table of 10. A buffet table service area can be provided with ample of space for service.
